Oxney Classic 2019

A classic blend of the holy trinity. 

First we have the ever present power of the holy spirit (Pinot Noir), he comes in the form of ripe berries and an oh so subtle spice. 

There’s a whiff of toasted goods, nuts, brioche, baked apple.

And there is the son, the redeemer (Pinot Meunier), making an entrance with bouquets of orange blossom. He’s approachable and smooth on the palate.

It’s here at the palate where I find that final element, the father (also known as Chardonnay), and he’s come bearing gifts of crisp apple and bundles of orchard fruit. I now know who bought the toasted goods… he can come again.
