Emidio Pepe Cerasoulo d'Abruzzo 2024
£75.00
Harry's take
Undoubtedly one of the world's great producers, who have helped establish Abruzzo as a renowned region for quality, far beyond its historical preconception as a region for inexpensive, bulk and boring bottles. The Cerasoulo is a deep pink, stolen from the Abruzzo sunset; the ripe cranberry and cherry notes dance barefoot around the palate, since this wine is 100% foot trodden for a gentle extraction and laser focussed fruit. The acid snaps like a sail catching the wind, leaving the palate fresh. Chewy tannins meet your challenge. A wine for slow sipping, contemplation, and bresaola.
