Although unclassified, this wine was, for a time, the second wine of 2émé Leoville-Las-Cases. Now, it's referred to as its cousin, almost. Occupying the most northerly vineyard in Saint-Julien, bordering First Growth Château Latour vineyards in nearby Pauillac, safe to say this is among the top wines to be labelled as 'lowly' Médoc.
