Ch. Grillet Condrieu La Carthery 2022

Since 2017, a new cuvée has been added to the estate’s range: Condrieu ‘La Carthery’. Produced from 12 terraces adjoining those of the Château, this cuvée reveals another facet of Viognier, charming and full-bodied, without losing any of its integrity, elegance or balance.
 
Planted on 0.25 hectares of granite soil similar to that of Château-Grillet, at the top of the hillside, the vineyard produces a racy, expressive wine that is suitable for ageing or can be enjoyed in its youth. Vinified with the same precision as Château-Grillet, delicately and patiently aged on fine lees, it naturally completes the estate’s triptych. A rare and exclusive cuvée, both sapid and distinguished, like Château Grillet.
