Full Bodied Malbec Dominant Red Wine

Situated just outside of the famous Bordeaux wine region, Bergerac is often forgotten about, but it really shouldn't be. Succulant and juicy reds, similar to Merlot dominant Pomerol region as a result of clay based soils. Tour des Gendres is the most famous Bergerac estate, better known for their fresh, citrussy clean white wines from Sauvignon, Semillon and Muscadelle, they closely mirror winemaking in Bordeaux, you just aren't paying for the name!

Similar to Bordeaux, cassis and eucalyptis dominate flavour proceedings, with dark fruit, vanilla from a substantial oak presence ensuing too. The wines are always beautifully balanced and can be cellared for a few years after bottling.
