Incredibly deep and savoury Pinot Noir from a stellar Meursault producer

Dominique Lafon crafts some of the worlds most sought after and beautiful Chardonnay. Yet, his reds remain slighly forgotten about. Small amounts of Pinot Noir grown in the Beaune, instead of competing for space in the Nuits means that you get an incredibly high level of wine making quality, without having to pay extortionate, unreachable prices.

Monthélie remains a village close to our in house sommelier, Harry's heart and its definitely where he gravitates towards when purchasing Burg. The relative value is excellent, and, being so close to Pommard and Volnay, it's excellent terroir for Pinot.
