Full Bodied Warming Red Wine
The domaine is situated in the Suzette village of Beaumes de Venise, however the vineyards are balanced beween AOC Ventoux, Côtes-du-Rhône and Beaumes de Venise. Guy Jullien prefers low yielding vines, old vines which increases the intensity of his wines which hold a wonderfully savoury flavour and tannic back-end.
There is a natural element to what is otherwise a full bodied style of Southern French wine, basked in morello cherry, dark prune and black plum, with some strawberry and a sprinkle of black pepper from the Syrah. A gastronomic wine that appreciates rich red meat and succlent pork.
