Premier Cru Meursault from one of the best single vineyards of the village
Growers in Burgundy were overjoyed with a bountiful 2017 harvest, lots of grapes to play with which is a rarity in a region where vineyard plots and even rows of grapes are shared amongst multiple vignerons. Château de Meursault, like many domaines in Burgundy has a long and rich history, located in the heart of Burgundy. They believe themselves to be a global 'reference point' for the world's best white wines.
Located in the single vineyard Perriéres, this Meursault is more noticably mineral than other single vineyard sites such as Charmes and Les Genevrières, helped by the notable amount of limestone soil. This wine is beautifully rich, round and precise, typical of the region, grape and vineyard.
