Great value, fresh and crisp dry white wine
The original vineyards of this estate were located at the foot of the historic Bastide town of Montaigut, a former bastide town. During the Wars of Religion, it was rebuilt on the plain of the Lisle and became Lisle-sur-Tarn. The current winery is some 150 years old.
Traditionally, these wines were transported in original barrels, not bottles, testament to the humble way of life of regional southern france, dominated by agriculture. The wine offers superb value, a summer time quaffer on the beaches of the Med.
