A resurrected Spanish tradition of old
We all know and love sherry, the time it spends under a layer of least known as flor. Little do we know, that a producer in Jerez is bringing to life 17th and 18th century methods of making non-fortified wine from the Palomino grape (a dominant grape of Sherry).
A truly unique and interesting wine, not for the feinthearted but extremely rewarding! Chalky soils dominate the Miraflores UBE, the salinity is akin to a Manzanilla Sherry, with a slightly lower alcohol content of course!
