Harry, the co-founder of Cépage and certified fine wine obsessive will guide you through a range of wines from growers he cherishes and believes are mixing things up, far removed from the clutches of the corporate Grand Marque life. From a Coteaux Champenois to a fortified Ratafia, the tasting with Ropes and Twines will consolidate your love for the region and open your eyes to the plethora of styles produced there.

About Harry, and Cépage

Harry began his career as a sommelier, at the second oldest restaurant in London, Wiltons, and as head of beverage at the now closed FOLIE in the heart of Soho.

It was during COVID that harry decided to pursue his own business with co-founder Bea, whilst still somming on the side for the likes of Cartier, Hackett and Chanel. Cépage started as a fine wine private client sommelier service and wine concierge, developing into a fully fledged online shop, subscription service, even supplying some incredible wine focussed venues in the north (inc. Ropes, of course!).

We’re lucky enough to have been written about in The Sunday Times, British Vogue, Courier Mag and more. Our focus remains on fine wine, presented in a fun way. We believe wine should be for drinking and enjoying, not hoarding and investing. Hence, we LOVE hosting events like these which happen on a monthly basis.
